The Fishnet Crocheters is a chapter of the Crochet Guild of America for the New England area.
Fishnet Crocheters, founded in 2007, is an active group of friendly crocheters of all expertise levels.
All are welcome! Our meetings are dedicated to supporting one another in enjoying and excelling in the art and craft of crochet.
There are no dues to join the Fishnet Crocheters chapter. Although most of us are CGOA members, there is no requirement to join CGOA. Please join us!
Meetings are usually held monthly from 1:30-3-30 pm on the last Sunday of the month, however, special arrangements are sometimes made to avoid holiday weekends. Please check the calendar for details.
In case of inclement weather, we will do our best to post a message on the website & message board no later than 11 am. If our meeting site is closed for the day, the meeting is automatically cancelled. Please take the initiative to check websites for information before heading out. Crocheters are always asked to use their discretion. Travel conditions can vary widely from place to place. Please keep yourself safe.

My mom lives in Billerica. She loves to crochet. I am looking for an outlet of friendly women to socialize with. She does not drive. I am looking for meetings that are close to her in Billerica, MA so my dad or myself can take her. Thank you.

For August, we’re meeting at the Fabric Place Basement in Natick. September through May, we plan to meet at the Cary Memorial Library in Lexington. Please keep an eye on the website as we occasionally meet in other places, especially if there is a yarn shop or other yarn/crochet event nearby.
If none of these locations is close enough to Billerica for you, you may also want to check for crochet groups in the following places: Meetup https://www.meetup.com/ ; Crochet Crowd live group charity locator http://thecrochetcrowd.com/charity-locator/ ; Ravelry https://www.ravelry.com/ ; Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ Other common places to find a crochet group are your local yarn shop, library, church, community center, or a nearby retirement community. Don’t rule out knitting, needlework, and general crafting groups, they typically welcome crocheters.
